Daphne Winston Hired as Edyoucore’s Director of Financial Education

Baltimore, Md. — Edyoucore Sports & Entertainment has hired Daphne Winston as its Director of Financial Education. The company provides financial education and consulting services designed to educate, equip and empower people to make more informed business, financial and lifestyle decisions.  Winston will develop and create Edyoucore’s financial education curriculum and shape the direction of its programs for clients including professional leagues/teams, college athletics departments, associations, talent agencies as well as individual athletes and entertainers seeking consulting services.

Daphne most recently worked with Financial Finesse and was instrumental in helping the company design and implement workplace provided financial wellness programs for employees.  This work included working with several NFL teams. Prior to her tenure at Financial Finesse, she gained experience working for traditional advisory firms and specialized in working with high-net worth clients, small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Winston said, “I am very excited to join the Edyoucore team and bring my passion for helping people become more financial educated.  I look forward to developing and creating curriculum for Edyoucore’s clients that will not only provide them with financial education but equip them knowledge that will help them for their entire lives.”

A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Daphne returned to school and completed the Executive Financial Planning program at Xavier University and earned her Certified Financial Planner® certification.  At Edyoucore, Daphne will leverage her previous experience and fulfill her passion by assisting the sports and entertainment population to become better equipped in addressing their financial, lifestyle and business affairs.

Edyoucore was recently launched by financial services veteran Drew Hawkins and consists of a team of industry veterans, professional athletes and entertainers.
