Edyoucore Brings NIL Education and Financial Literacy Conversations to the Triple Crown Invitational Fan Zone
May 11, 2026
The energy was high all weekend as Edyoucore joined athletes, families, coaches, and sports professionals at the Triple Crown Invitational Fan Zone in Baltimore for an impactful weekend of conversation, education, and connection around the rapidly evolving NIL landscape.
Located inside the event’s Chill Zone, the Edyoucore team spent the weekend engaging directly with attendees who were eager to learn more about Name, Image and Likeness opportunities, athlete branding, financial literacy, and how student-athletes can position themselves for long-term success both on and off the court.
As NIL opportunities continue to reshape youth and collegiate athletics, many parents and athletes are searching for trusted guidance on how to navigate contracts, partnerships, financial management, and the business side of sports. The Triple Crown Invitational created the perfect environment for those conversations to take place in real time.
Edyoucore Founder & CEO Drew Hawkins, joined by team member Jake Diamond, spent the weekend answering questions from families and sports professionals while sharing practical insight on financial wellness, planning, and athlete development. From understanding the importance of building the right support team to creating healthy financial habits early, the conversations centered around helping athletes prepare for sustainable success beyond the game.
The event also featured engagement from Antonio Davis, President & CEO of the National Basketball Retired Players Association, and Choo Smith, Board President of the National Basketball Retired Players Association. Both shared valuable insight and encouragement with attendees throughout the weekend, reinforcing the importance of education, preparation, and mentorship for young athletes entering today’s sports business environment.
Throughout the weekend, attendees stopped by to discuss topics ranging from financial literacy and endorsement opportunities to branding, budgeting, and the importance of building a trustworthy management team. For Edyoucore, the event was another opportunity to continue its mission of helping athletes, entertainers, and families develop the financial knowledge and strategies needed to create long-term stability and success.
As NIL opportunities continue to grow, Edyoucore remains committed to providing resources, education, and practical guidance that empower athletes and families to make informed decisions at every stage of the journey.
