Quarantined Conversations: Money in Crisis, Money and Crisis
You’re invited. Please join us.
Beginning this week, we are using our time in quarantine to chat about how this global, history-making disruption is affecting us all and how to come out on the other side of it with a better way of thinking and planning for turbulent times.
April is traditionally the month when financial literacy is a national focus so taking that into account along with the current climate we are in, Edyoucore thought it was a good time to highlight dialogue appropriate for the crisis while introducing the company’s “Get Lit” brand for its financial education movement.
Our series will include weekly conversations with the first one this Thursday, April 9 at 4 p.m. ET on Instagram Live featuring Bart Scott and Drew Hawkins. During the month, we will cover a range of topics related to managing your money matters in a time of crisis. We’ve invited a few of our friends from the sports and entertainment worlds to join us to discuss things like questions to ask your advisors and yourself, job loss and its impact on family and finances, managing an “Oh Sh**!” fund, and setting yourself up for success in the years to come.
While Edyoucore is specialized in providing financial education for individuals in the sports and entertainment industries, we believe there is great benefit to having discussions around financial topics that are applicable to anyone – especially now.
We promise relaxed but real convos on everything from responsibility and resilience to recovery and resetting yourself for the road ahead. We hope to have some laughs too. Another thing that is greatly needed.
Hope to see and hear from you!
Be well. Stay safe.
