Drew Hawkins Serves as Panelist for “Play-by-Play: Today’s Athletes & their Financial Road Maps”

Edyoucore founder and CEO, Drew Hawkins was invited by NBC Universal’s Black Employee Network to serve on a recent panel focused on today’s athletes and their finances. The event,”Play-by-Play: Today’s Athletes and their Financial Road Maps” was hosted at CNBC and moderated by the network’s sports business reporter, Jabari Young. Joining Hawkins on the panel were Candice S. Cook, Managing Partner at the Cook Law Group, LLC,  Dr. Maurice A. Stinnett, Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion BSE Global, Lee Moulton, Global Head of Partnerships at SeatGeek.com and World Champion boxer, Zab Judah. The event was part of series during Black History Month.

Hawkins then appeared on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” program to discuss how athletes can make poor decisions with their finances. He also provided some information about how athletes and entertainers can put themselves in the right position with better financial education.
