Ballin’ on a Budget with Bart Scott Ep2: Jameel McClain, Director of Player Engagement, Baltimore Ravens
In Episode 2 of Ballin’ on a Budget with Bart Scott, Bart speaks with his former teammate, Jameel McClain, who played in the NFL for seven seasons. McClain spent the majority of his career playing linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens and was a member of the 2012 Super Bowl championship team. He played college football at Syracuse University while double majoring in communications/rhetorical studies and sociology.
McClain currently serves as the Director of Player Engagement for the Ravens under the Ravens Player Development Department. He works with players, providing support and education that will help them succeed on and off the field.
In addition to his role with the Ravens, McClain founded the 53 Families Foundation in 2010. The organization provides necessary resources for youth to be successful. Since its inception, the foundation has helped thousands of individuals receive resources including clothing, meals and financial support.
McClain opened a Retro Fitness franchise in Catonsville, Maryland with his wife in 2017.
